cotton. And we got ten percent off for everything that we bought at Landry's so it was very nice altogether.

We got a round table for the middle of the parlor and we put the green plush album on,it. I made another green silk scarf for the mantel to match the one on the piano but I had a hard time getting the same kind of balls. And we got two lovely big vases for the mantel and a clock in the middle. The woodwork in the parlor was all mahogany too and we had green wall paper with sort of lighter green flowers on it. Our bedroom was kind of part of the parlor and so we hung green plush portieres between and when we got the green carpet on the floor the parlor looked lovely. Frank picked out the carpet and it looked so bright because it had such nice big pink flowers in it. I thought nobody in the world had such a nice parlor as ours especially to begin with right away and when we put up the pictures we had and got a little glass case for our little ornaments it looked simply elegant.
For the bedroom we got a big brass bed and a bird's eye maple dresser and on one side of the top of the dresser I put
