ROCKY had anticipated nothing but a solitary ride home to Indian Range. No foreboding had warned him, when he left the school-house, that he was to find adventure on the trail. Yet so it was-and the meeting between Pasco the Apache, Tuck Werner and the unpleasant Bud, began a train of events that ushered in a new phase in the Indian Range trouble, a decisive phase.
